Before Frida, written by Jeremy Holloway
Everyone knows the story of ABBA, one of the most successful bands in the history of pop music. But not so many know the story of Anna-Frid Lyngstad, a shy, introverted girl born 4 months after the end of the 2nd World War.
A girl who was the result of a love affair between a 16-year-old Norwegian girl from the north of Norway and a Nazi officer, and who lost her mother when she was 2 years old and was brought up by her grand-mother.
Anna-Frid began her musical career singing jazz in a jazz band, which is where she met her first husband and father to her children. And at the age of 24 was all ready to give up her musical career and had it not been for her new husband she would have done.
This is a story of courage and talent; a story of taking chances.......
